The methodology
01
Enquiry
A brief description of the family's situation — no sensitive detail required. We respond in writing within two working days with an outline of which service may be relevant.
02
Document review
The family provides the relevant title documents. We read them carefully and note what is clear, what is ambiguous, and what may require further inquiry.
03
Written note
A plain-language written note describing the current position, the applicable law, and the options the family may consider. Delivered to the family to read at their own pace.
04
Next steps (optional)
If the family wishes to proceed further, each next step is agreed in writing in advance. Nothing proceeds without the family's written confirmation.
Service 01
Land Title Inheritance Review
A patient service for clients with land or other immovable property who would like a calm written review of how the title is currently held and how it would pass under the present arrangements. The work covers a careful read of the title documents, a plain-language written note describing the present position, and a short summary of the options the client may wish to consider for the long term.
The note is the client's working document and may be kept on file regardless of whether any further step is taken. There is no obligation to proceed.
Service 02
Agricultural Succession Planning
A focused service for families whose holdings include farmland, orchards, or other working agricultural property and who would like a written long-term plan for the continued running of the land. The work covers structured conversations with the family about who will be involved in the continuation of the work, a written record of the present operational arrangements, drafting of the relevant succession documents, and a calm annual review schedule so the plan can be adjusted gently as circumstances change.
The pace is set by the family throughout. Agricultural succession involves choices about people, relationships, and continuity — these are not decisions that should feel rushed.
Service 03
Family Estate Restructuring
A comprehensive service for families whose property holdings have grown across generations into a structure that has become difficult for the family to read clearly. The work covers a written reconstruction of the present holdings, a structured set of family conversations about long-term priorities, drafting of the relevant restructuring documents, and a clear final written record describing the new arrangement.
Decisions about substance remain firmly with the family at every step, and any change of any significance is referred to the family in writing in advance so it may be considered calmly.
